[Advertising on Soul Commune]
If you are a music artist, writer, producer, record company executive and/or a host of an event related to music, you can submit an advertisement request to the Soul Commune Administration via a private message. We advise you to use this method of communication as opposed to posts to ensure that we receive such requests in a timely manner (We get tons of responses, shout outs, etc., via posts and may not be able to read your post/request within a suitable time frame). A Soul Commune Admin/Ambassador will follow up with you to provide submission instructions (including options, terms, specifications, etc.) shortly thereafter.
Advertising on Soul Commune is open to all however, due to limitations in space, it is strictly on a “first come, first serve” basis! Soul Commune implies no warranties or makes no guarantees whatsoever regarding any events, products, or services advertised on our website. Furthermore any advertisement(s) on Soul Commune should not be misconstrued as an endorsement of any one organization, person or group of people.
NOTE: Advertising – Request a rate sheet, we are pretty reasonable - SoulCommune2@Gmail.com.
Also please read our policy on SPAM.
[Soul Commune SPAM Policy]
The dictionary defines the word “Commune” as “To be in a state of intimate, heightened sensitivity and receptivity, as with one's surroundings” – this describes perfectly the vibe that we are seeking to create/facilitate. With that in mind, and so that all can enjoy their experience as we “commune” together in this shared “space”, we here at Soul Commune adhere to a Zero Tolerance policy as it relates to SPAM!
Please don't spam. Spam is annoying and destroys the vibe! We consider SPAM to be multiple unsolicited communications in the form of unauthorized broadcast e-mails, flyers, or posts (whether in groups, forums, blogs, and on other member’s pages, etc.) that are sent indiscriminately to our “commune” – particularly any communications that are un-welcomed, irritatingly repetitive, and/or otherwise harassing in nature. You get the picture.
While we encourage the sharing of ideas, promotion of talent, and communication of information amongst members, we ask that you respect others and use discretion before you engage in any activities that could be considered SPAMMING. Unfortunately such will result in an immediate BANNING from Soul Commune! NOTE: Of course, you are permitted to post whatever you like on your page – but we just respectfully ask that the mutual “vibe” not be disturbed, disrupted, stifled, or otherwise violated by a barrage of unwanted/frivolous e-mails/posts. Simply put SPAMMING = BANNING!
To be courteous if you have an upcoming event post ONE discussion thread in the appropriate area (e.g., group, forum, or blog) or simply ask for our blessings if your needs are more routine in nature (weekly or monthly events, etc.) and we will gladly assist you in whatever way possible.
[Music Player] How can I have my song(s) added to the playlist?
Our ultimately purpose is to ensure that artists have a worldwide venue to display their creative work and talent. We are experimenting and exploring the many ways that we can get you music heard and in the future will have Soul Commune podcast and streaming mixes (also videos). Currently we offer artists the ability to have their music featured in the Soul Commune music player on the main page. [Private Messages] What are they and how do I send them?
Private message (as opposed to post on personal pages, blogs or forums) are email messages that you can send to or receive from your “friends” on Soul Commune (this person must first be a friend). As the name indicates, these messages are private and can only be read/viewed by the recipient as opposed to posts, blogs/forum comments which can be read by everybody! There are two standard ways to send private messages:
1) You can click on the mail icon that appears on the top left-hand side of the page between your profile picture and view friends icons. This will enable your Soul Commune message center, which operates like a standard email application and select “Compose” option and select/reply to the friend.
2) You can click on “Send a message” on your friend’s page (the mail icon and link appear below that person’s profile photo). This will allow you to send a private message directly to that individual.
Compose and Send. In both cases, the individual will receive a message notification (via their regular email account) alerting them of the new message, which they can view via the Soul Commune message center.

3) Click the "Send Message to Friends" Link

[Forum] Why does it say I have 15 minutes to edit posts?
