Having been a fan of music from the Black genre of Soul, Jazz, Reggae since 1969. I moved into DJing on the Rare Northern Soul Scene, having played around the North West of UK, along with an invitation to DJ in Italy during 2007.
I moved into writing and Interviewing artists from the rare Soul scene. This opened many new doors for me, with a regular feature called " Word On The Kerb " in On The Scene magazine.
Having had this opportunity to network and become close friends with artists I would support in my youth.
During 2007 i was the Executive Producer on a Project with the very talented vocalist Shirley Ann Slaughter, on the Universal Love record label .
The debut CD was called " Philadelphia Soul " and launched with some success in the UK. I secured radio Interview`s and media attention in Soul Music publications nationwide with plays on BBC Radio.
My greatest achievement with this project was to secure Global Distribution with The Orchard in New York to enable a clear infrastructure for Universal Love Records.
Having visited the USA a number of times, each occasion to enhance my understanding of the music Industry I am delighted to be a trusted representative to Shirley Ann Slaughter in support of her musical aspirations.
I have also acted as consultant to artists from Atlanta, New York and California.
Later this year will see the launch of my label " Word On The Kerb" with digital and physical output.
