Mick joined 209 radio two years ago and has gone from strength to strength with the style of Soul music being played from the 60s right up to present day.
“I am very enthusiastic for Soul music and emphasise this on my show by playing a great mixture of Soul. The telephone interviews with the artists and the studio guests (mainly collectors/DJs from around the world) give the show a great feel and personality”.
Also Mick will be joining Solar Radio continuing his show 'Soul Discovery' He will be looking forward to working with fellow presenters on the station and although the show will be keeping a similar format he is looking to new and exciting times ahead!

Greetings from Down under. I see you're on my favorite Radio Station Solar Radio...!! Very impressed. Do you get over to Australia much?? I'd like to link up if you do. I'm looking to start running some Soul / Jazz gigs in Sydney / Melbourne / Canberra / Newcastle (East Coast of Australia). The scene over here is small and relatively untapped and needs lifting. Let me know mate. I'm also distantly linked to Star Point FM. One of my old time mates has been involved with Star Point for years and I've recently made contact with him again after many years. I just want Australia to catch up with the rest of the world and if I can get the scene rolling then I will have achieved something as I know there is a market for it over here. Another thing - Would you be interested in taking a holiday to Australia and combining it with doing a few gigs along the way??
