isn't funny how the naysayers don't wanna see you get ahead?
so what they do is down your dreams & hurt your feelings instead
they don't like it when you feel so happy
or when you walk around feeling like you can
what they wanna do is rupture your mood
and tear you down from how tall you stand
then you have those who will speak the words loud enough for you to hear

Hurt by the closest ones
Hurt by the closest ones

the ones that are most closest to you
are the ones who willl likely be the ones hurt you
feelings don't matter
when venom lies on the tongue of others
we must be careful of how we approach others
cause God is watching
& is not happy with the satisfaction people get outta hurting others
love is only a word to some
but to others it's a feeling that should be reciprocated
