Black Womans Tribute Live!

Spoken Soul Performance artist Kamal Imani performed his dedication to the sisters song "Ms. Melanin" for the Ron Alexander TV taping. This song is a rising favorite of the sisters. Kamal believes that men should respect, protect and elevate the Black Woman as she is the original woman and our mother, sister, daughter and friend. She has been the backbone of our community since time immemorial.

Melanin is the dark pigment that the ancient Egyptians (Khemit) called the third eye (some say 1st eye). It is also linked to the sun and the soul.
